Sole Crusher

Sole Crusher is the seventh episode of Season 4 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The episode introduces a key character for the rest of the series: Zoe, Chloe Bourgeois’s half-sister. After arriving in Paris to join the Bourgeois family, Zoe is immediately pressured by Chloe’s tyrannical demands and pushed to mistreat Marinette to prove her loyalty. This inner conflict between good and evil, authenticity and conformity, sits at the heart of Season 4, Episode 7. Under pressure from Hawk Moth, Zoe is akumatized and becomes Sole Crusher – a giant, destructive version of Chloe capable of absorbing people through the soles of her shoes.
